How do I sell stuff?

Selling requires listing your products online. Fortunately, with Comersus's software, this is a fairly simple process. First log into the administrative portion of your e-commerce site and click on the Products link:

Something that is important to understand is that the web is a visual medium. Hence, pictures of your products (if applicable) are important for conveying its uniqueness. It is most convenient to have two images of each product: 1) A thumbnail (100x100 pixels) for the main page and 2) A larger image (200x200 to 400x400 pixels) for the detail page. Once you have these images available, upload them to the store site using the "Upload images" button.

Once you have uploaded your images, it is time to add the new product. Click the "Add product" button to see the following screen:

This screen lets you set up all the details about your product. Field descriptions are available in the Comersus Documentation but the most important fields to fill out are Description, Details, Price, Images, and Stock. Categories are covered in organizing products.

That's all there is to it! There are some additional features which you may want to take advantage of, but filling out those fields will at least get your product online!
