It's done! How do I get it online?

Once you have created your pages you need to get them uploaded to your NetFootprint account.  To do this you will need to use an ftp client.  Once again this leaves you with several choices.  On most modern operating systems you can make ftp connections from the command line.  For the purpose of this document we will be using browser-integrated ftp because it is simple and available on most systems.

1. Open a new web browser

2. Type your NetFootprint web address prefixed by ftp:// in stead of http:// in the address line.  i.e.  ftp://www.defaultco.com

3. You should get a box asking for your username and password.  Use the ftp username and password provided by NetFootprint when you signed up.  Remember that your ftp username may differ from the username you use to login to the NetFootprint site.

4. Once our server has verified the username and password you should see the contents of your directory on our server.  If you have not yet created any pages this may be blank

5. At this point all you have to do is drag and drop the files into the browser window you have connected to our server and the files will be uploaded into your account.
